Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager in designing and implementing a technical training program.
  • Design, develop, and implement a Leadership Development Program
  • Develop, implement, and track mentoring/succession planning program.
  • Measure total effectiveness of learning and development programs.
  • Maintain a database of all skill and scope certifications obtained by SRA employees.
  • Track production improvement via Procore Project Management Software.
  • Monitor and report on new and developing OSHA standards and practices.
  • Schedule equipment and safety training based on the needs of the business.
  • Recruit and hire both experienced/skilled talent and new talent.
  • Create and maintain Toolbox Talks on a weekly basis to send to the field.
  • Work directly with local staffing agencies to bring in temporary talent.
  • Work directly with the Operations Manager to streamline all aspects of the work.

The duties and responsibilities described above are not a comprehensive list. Additional tasks may be assigned at any time, and the scope of this position may change as necessitated by business demands. This position will report to the Director of Operations.

 

JOb Description

Stone Restoration of America is a family-owned business with over 25 years of industry experience that provides restoration and waterproofing services for commercial buildings as well as structural and waterproofing repairs on parking decks. One of our specialties is multi-family exterior restoration and waterproofing with licensed crews experienced in working on such structures.
Stone Restoration is looking for a self-driven, eager, and motivated individual to fill our current open role of Director of Training and Talent Development. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for development, maintaining and improving aspects of the scope specific training, safety, recruitment of trades, production tracking and the development of field personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-year college degree
  • OSHA 10 preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Two or more years’ experience in construction industry.
  • Two or more years’ experience in safety.
  • Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb and balance on equipment, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds
  • Must have valid driver’s license or valid State ID
  • Must pass a criminal background check & pre-employment drug screening
