Controller

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all finance and accounting operations
  • Complete account and bank reconciliations
  • Support month end, quarter end and year end close process
  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Record deposit and payments
  • Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Maintain chart of accounts and financial controls
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
  • Monitor and confirm financial condition by conduction reconciliation of General Ledger
  • Provide a periodic financial flash report for Company Ownership to determine overall company financial health

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and or finance
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is a strong plus but not required
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in accounting/ finance
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements

  • Must have valid driver’s license or valid State ID
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
