Accounts payable Clerk & Admin Assistant

Role and Responsibilities

  • Circulate AP invoices for approval
  • Enter AP invoices into accounting system
  • Review monthly vendor statements
  • Compile weekly check run
  • Daily answer the phone and front door
  • Distribute mail daily
  • File paperwork
  • Professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years’ experience in accounts payable
  • Must be proficient in scanning, Microsoft
  • Office programs and related computer skills
  • Notary Public is a strong plus but not required

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to talk and hear
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Must have valid driver’s license or valid State ID
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
